U.S.S. Arizona Memorial, Pearl Harbor, Oahu, 2004.



The Arizona Memorial at Battleship Row was finished
in 1962, in part by funds raised by Elvis Presley. The
structure "sags" in the middle but stands strong at the
ends, to express initial defeat and ultimate victory. The
flag is attached to the severed mast of the sunken ship.
